$500 CONFERENCE GRANT

Approved applicants must attend the conference in person

Grant recipients will need to provide:

1) Receipt for payment of conference fees
2) A written article to be published in our Impromptu newsletter and posted on our website.

In your article, please include:

  • Your name
  • Date and place of event
  • a photograph taken at the conference
  • a few words about the conference (100-200 words)
    (e.g. describe something that inspired or amazed you and/or
    something from the event that might be of interest to other members

MTNA Conference Grant Guidelines

Preference will be given in the following order:

1) to those who have previously attended but have not benefitted from this grant
2) to those who are attending for the first time
3) to those who have not benefitted from this grant in the previous year.

If there are no applicants who meet these criteria, consideration will be given to repeat applicants.

Each year, one attendee may receive $500. If there is more than one candidate, applications will be placed in a draw.
The application deadline is November 1st and is for the conference the following March. The grant recipient will be notified by November 30.
The Branch Administrator must receive the article and a copy of the receipt for conference fees paid by April 15.
The branch administrator will transfer funds to the recipient within *two weeks after the article and receipt are received.
*For cheque payments, please allow additional time for mail.
