CFMTA CONFERENCE GRANT
Update for 2025 Conference in Montreal!
$1000 available for each of THREE applicants!
Deadline to apply extended to Sunday, March 30, 2025
The intent of this grant is to encourage branch members to attend the CFMTA conference
Approved applicants must attend the conference in person
Grant recipients will need to provide:
1) Receipt for payment of conference fees
2) A written article to be published in our Impromptu newsletter and posted on our website.
In your article, please include:
- Your name
- a few words about the conference (around 100 words)
(e.g. describe something that inspired or amazed you) - a photograph taken at the conference

| Preference will be given first to applicants who are attending a national conference for the first time, and second to those who have not benefitted from this grant in the previous three years. |
| Up to $3000 (was $1050) is available in odd-numbered years. |
| Up to three CFMTA conference attendees may receive $1000 each (was $350). If there are more than three applicants, applications will be placed in a draw. Any balance may be awarded to MCA attendees in odd number years. |

| The Branch Administrator must receive the article and a copy of the receipt for conference fees paid by July 30. |
| The branch administrator will transfer funds to the recipients within *two weeks after the article and receipt are received. |
